The Journey

Kishor Viramgama is a highly accomplished individual who has dedicated his life to the field of civil engineering and construction. He started his career in 1982 by working for a private company, but his desire to make a significant impact in the field led him to join the Public Works Department (PWD) of the Government of Gujarat in 1984. After gaining invaluable experience working for the government, he decided to start his own business in 1991. Under his leadership as Chairman and Managing Director, his company, Backbone Enterprise Ltd., made a name for itself in the construction industry by delivering high-quality building projects and real estate developments. In 2017, the company rebranded itself as Iron Triangle Ltd. and has since expanded its portfolio to include various sectors of infrastructure development such as national and state highways, roads, canals, irrigation projects, commercial and residential buildings, runways, railway tracks and electrification, industrial estates and SEZs, and sewerage treatment plants. With over 40 years of experience in the field, Kishor Viramgama is a true visionary who continues to drive his dream of infrastructure construction in nation building.

Personal and Social – Interests & Achievements

Kishor Viramgama’s personal life is filled with various interests and activities. He is a member of several prestigious clubs including Rajpath Club Ahmedabad, Karnavati Club Ahmedabad, YMCA Club Ahmedabad, Gujarat Cricket Association, and NGV Club Bangalore. He is a sports enthusiast and spends nearly three hours every morning engaging in physical activities such as playing volleyball and swimming. He is also an avid traveler and has visited more than 50 different countries for both business and leisure purposes.

In addition to his personal interests, Kishor Viramgama is actively involved in various social and charitable organizations. He has served as a Trustee and President of the Kadva Patidar Samaj in Gandhinagar for four years along with his spouse. He also serves as the Vice President of the Uma Seva Foundation at Asarwa Civil Hospital, a Trustee of the Vishwa Umiya Foundation in Ahmedabad, and a Sthapak Trustee of Sardardham, Ahmedabad. Additionally, he is a member of the Bopal Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Gujarat Contractors Association, and an active member of the Builders Association of India. His contributions to these organizations have earned him several awards, including the “Patidar Udyog Ratna,” “Udyog Rattan Award,” “Bharat Gaurav Puraskar,” “Glory of India Award,” “International Achievements Award for Industrial Development,” and “Pride of India Award.”
